Concept:

Defense is a vital part of hockey.  The Defensman position in youth hockey is often thought of as a place to put a non- offensive player when in fact it is the foundation of every team. Compete Hockey Defensman Camp addresses this notion and provides cutting edge training for the defensman position.

Defenseman Skills
Defense Focused Skating & Acceleration / Backwards Skating &
Crossovers / Angling / Body Contact (Age Specific) / Transitions

Escapes / Net Front Presence / Point Shooting & Selection /
Stick Proficiency / Gap Control

Group 1: Mites and Squirts
8:30 AM—10:00 AM Ice Time
10:30 AM—11:30 AM Dryland Shooting

Group 2: Pee Wee Bantams Midgets
8:45 AM—9:45 AM Dryland Shooting and Agility
10:15 AM—11:45 AM Ice Time
