Compete Hockey Academy is proud to announce they will be adding a U19 Female Academy team to their existing program for the 2015-16 season. Compete Hockey Academy is a member of the prestigious Canadian Sports School Hockey League in which programs like Okanagan Hockey Academy, Pursuit of Excellence, Banff Hockey Academy, Edge School of Athletes and South Delta Hockey Academy host female hockey programs.
The team will be coached by Lindsay Macy. Lindsay has played her collegiate hockey for the University of Wisconsin and Minnesota Mankato. Lindsay than went on to play for the U22 USA Hockey Female National team. She finished her playing career playing professional female hockey for the Minnesota Whitecaps. Lindsay then went on to work for the Owatonna High School Athletic Department in Owatonna, Minnesota she was also the coach of the female high school varsity team.

CHA’s female program will be similar to their already existing U16 and U18 male academy teams.
Program Structure:
- Athletes attend Genesis Preparatory Academy for their education
- 4.5 – 6 hours of on ice training weekly
- 3 to 4.5 hours of off-ice training weekly within CHA’s off ice training facility with CHA’s full time strength and conditioning coach
- Housed with local host families through CHA’s Housing Coordinator
- 45 – 50 AAA Caliber Female games within the Canadian Sports School Hockey League and various US based showcase tournaments
- Permanent female locker room
- 2.5 months of post season training on and off the ice

Compete Hockey Academy will be hosting a female and male showcase evaluation camp April 24th – 26th at Frontier Arena in beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho. The weekend will consist of games and on ice combine testing performed by Sports Testing.
